What we collect

CurrencyExchanger is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not require an account to use the converter. If you create an account, we store your name and email only in your own browser (localStorage) — it is never sent to our servers because we run a static website with no backend.

Rates data

Live rates are fetched from a public exchange-rate API. Your conversion amounts are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted anywhere except the rate API request itself.

Cookies

We use browser localStorage to remember your preferences (last used currencies, cached rates). No advertising cookies are set by us directly.

Advertising

We may display ads via Google AdSense in the future. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads — see Google's ad policies.

Your rights

You can delete all locally stored data at any time via our Delete Account page, or by clearing your browser storage.
